Best Fishes!

(Catchupmageddon Post). Wanted to make a swimming themed card for my Nephew and ended up with fishes! I've had this Lawn Fawn Fintastic Friends stamp set for a while but this is the first time I have had the chance to play with it.

The card above is my intended layout and the card below is what I made with all the left over bits! I used distress oxides for the water backgrounds and coloured the fish with copics.

I added some dots of glossy accents around the fish to represent some bubbles and add a new texture to the card.

Greeting was included with the stamp set.

Easter Bunnies

Another card using Gerda Steiner Stamp Set - Hoppiness! that Helen kindly stamped for me! Made this as an Easter card for my nephew, just using the bunny parts of the set.

I used the fence and little bird from the set on this card last month.

Bunnies were coloured with copics. Holes cut on the cuttlebug using a spellbinders circle set and added yellow bling to finish. Wanted to have a go at a card like this for ages, so glad I had an excuse to make one for Easter.

Card for my BIL

Did a little watercolour picture from a photo of my nephew Riley and thought I would convert it into a birthday card for my brother-in-law (his Dad!). It was actually quite hard work making a card and leaving it so the painting could be removed if they wanted to keep it! (That's if they recognise it's meant to be him, lol!).

Close up of the watercolour.

Set of paper were from "Making Cards" magazine, a long time ago, but they've been a really useful boy set! Stars from Prima and Papermania. Font is "Breamcatcher" one of my fav fonts.

Happy Birthday to my Nephew.

My nephew is turning seven and is into Shopkins at the moment, so as it's only for personal use, I used some of their official colouring posters and made them into cards for him. (One for me to send, One for My Mother-in-Law). So here is D'lish Donut and Cheeky Chocolate.

They were actually pretty fun to colour in! I printed them onto craft card along with the text. Text is in Adventure and Architect's Daughter fonts. Then I coloured them in with Polychromo pencils and mounted them into 7"x5" kraft blanks. Added some Papermania star gem stickers too.
