This is Kate.

Hi everyone! Popping in with a card using "Kate" a beautiful digistamp from Sweet Escape Digis

**** Special Offer Alert!*****
You can currently buy 4 digistamps for $6 in the Sweet Escape Shop! Also you can get a free digi for every digistamp you buy, so that's $6 for 4 paid for stamps & 4 freebies = 8 stamps!!! I suggest you pop to the Sweet Escape Digi Facebook Page to see the current options for free digistamps. Also make sure to message seller,  when you buy your 4 digis, with which freebies you are after.

It is actually a really interesting detailed stamp, so you can print it out and use the shading/detail already on it, or you can, as I did, print it out paler and use the detail as a guide.
Here is the digistamp before I messed with it!

And this is a close up of my version.

I used polychromo pencils and white posca pen as normal. The background paper is a freebie from Making Cards Magazine. The bling is from the stash.

The fonts are Breamcatcher and October Twilight, two of my favourites!

Thank you for reading my blog today! I hope you enjoyed the inspo. If you would like to have a look in the Sweet Escape Digi shop I am sure you will find something to tempt you. Remember there's an offer on!

I kept to a mainly purple theme and coloured him with polychromo pencils! Do you think he looks like he should be up on the notice board in your Dentist's reception? lol.

Font is the Dr.Digi font called Samdan. Background paper from the stash.

Dr. Demento the Dermatologist.

Happy Friday Folks! Bit of a different DT card today. I am very lucky to be able to use Dr.Digi images for cards people commission from me and I knew Dr.Demento would be perfect for a dermatologically themed card. I printed the "Demento Alone" digi onto a blank piece of white card and started to draw in the scene around him.

Firstly I added the appropriate greeting to the back of his clipboard and the words on the label of the bottle he is holding.

The customer had asked for some things to be included, like a "cure for psoriasis" and "a cure for eczema" and other things that are really tricky to spell! She wanted a mad scientist kind of vibe in his laboratory. When I had finished drawing the scene in pencil I then went over the design in black pen. Then I scanned it (in case of accidents!) and finally coloured it in with copic markers and white posca pen. I also added a bit of glitter and glossy accents at the end.

I am pleased to say the customer was really happy with it! I also personalised the inside as per her requirements and added in some extra signing space for work colleagues to add their signatures.

Dr.Digi's has lots of stamps that suit different jobs and trades, why not check out the shop next time you need to make a card for someone you work with?

Fairy with flowers!

Hiya, another GDT post today! :) I hope you didn't miss this amazing freebie on Kit & Clowder, but thankfully Fairy with flowers is now available in the Sweet Escape Shop to buy! And more good news, I have an offer code to share with you so you can also get 20% off, use SWEET20

It's always worth keeping an eye out on the Sweet Escape Facebook Page for the latest special deal! Why not buy her using the 4 stamps for £10 offer instead?

So here is my card using her! She was so much fun to colour.

And here is the digistamp, I know it can be nice to compare the stamp to the coloured image?

And my coloured version -

I used polychromo pencils as normal on Kendal Buff cardstock. I also used a lot of white posca pen and a smidge of glitter on the flowers.

The background paper is verrrry old and from the stash. The fonts are Bernadette Rough and KG No Regrets.

I am still tempted to make a mask and cover the whole of the wings with glitter varnish?  It might happen, I just wanted to show off how nice the stamp was to colour before going mad with glitter, lol!

Thanks for joining me today. Make sure to join up to the Sweet Escape FB page for offers and check out their shop to see all the lovely things they have to offer! So many beautiful stamps.

Giving you penguin realness.

Hi everyone! Back to the blog for Dr.Digi friyay! :D And this time I am bringing you penguins out of season. A penguin is not just for Christmas. Here is my card using "Cuddly Critters - Penguin!"

This penguin is not only a stand-alone digi but one of the critters from the Cuddly Critters Set too! (Where you get £28's worth of digis for just £15!)

I have used three penguins and just overlaid them on my computer then added text before printing them out. Because I knew they were partially black I didn't bother with any masking.

They are coloured with polychromo pencils and some white posca pen. I colour feathers just like fur, and if you are interested I have a photo demo here on the blog.

The paper behind is from the current issue of Making Cards Magazine (Where Dr.Digi is featured with a 20% off code and there are some beautiful cards by my fellow teamie Ruth!)

Please pop to the Dr.Digi's shop to see what you could be spending your money on!
