Fairy with flowers!

Hiya, another GDT post today! :) I hope you didn't miss this amazing freebie on Kit & Clowder, but thankfully Fairy with flowers is now available in the Sweet Escape Shop to buy! And more good news, I have an offer code to share with you so you can also get 20% off, use SWEET20

It's always worth keeping an eye out on the Sweet Escape Facebook Page for the latest special deal! Why not buy her using the 4 stamps for £10 offer instead?

So here is my card using her! She was so much fun to colour.

And here is the digistamp, I know it can be nice to compare the stamp to the coloured image?

And my coloured version -

I used polychromo pencils as normal on Kendal Buff cardstock. I also used a lot of white posca pen and a smidge of glitter on the flowers.

The background paper is verrrry old and from the stash. The fonts are Bernadette Rough and KG No Regrets.

I am still tempted to make a mask and cover the whole of the wings with glitter varnish?  It might happen, I just wanted to show off how nice the stamp was to colour before going mad with glitter, lol!

Thanks for joining me today. Make sure to join up to the Sweet Escape FB page for offers and check out their shop to see all the lovely things they have to offer! So many beautiful stamps.

Star Fairy Sparkle

Back again with another cross post from here to the Little Blue Button Stamps Blog.

Really enjoyed picking out some christmassy images to colour and this time I chose the beautiful Star Fairy!

I loved colouring her and risked an orange and green colour combo, something I am not very good at!  The font I used is called Troutkings BTN.

She is, as normal, coloured with polychromo pencils on kraft card with ALOT of white posca pen to create a sort of... sparkle? I added some Stickles too, just to make sure we were looking magical! :)

Click the picture below to check her out in the shop!

To finish I mounted the topper onto a 7x5 card blank and added some green bling and some Shimelle stars from the stash. The orange paper was part of a freebie set from a magazine a vvvvverrrrrry long time ago. Thought it fitted well though and enjoyed doing Xmas in non-traditional colours!

Check out the LBB blog to see what's going on at Little Blue Button! There's a whole DT working hard and sharing their creations!

Number One.

The first of two DT posts today! And I'm starting with The Crafty Addicts Challenge Blog and it's Challenge 39 with an ATG/Girlie theme!

Moonflower Digital Stamps (Prize is a $10 voucher!) is sponsoring the challenge this time, so many pretty images to choose from! I had actually downloaded Lilly the Cat Fairy as a freebie previously so wanted to make use of her :)

As normal, she is polychromos on kraft card. And I found a nice kitty quote online to go with her.

June Facebook Crafty Addicts Challenge!

I loved making the card for this challenge and I have been waiting forever to be able to post about it :)

It's time for a new challenge on The Crafty Addicts Facebook Group. And this time the theme is as normal, "Anything Goes" and optionally "Bling it Up". My card is indeed very blingy in real life but sadly not so blingy in the photo, erf!

This challenge is sponsored by A Day For Daisies ($12 voucher to winner) and Morgan's Artworld (3 free digis to winner.)

I used an image called "Fairy Dog 3" from A Day for Daisies. I love it. Once I saw it I couldn't choose anything else. It is also perfect for a card I need to give in June, so double whammy bonus! :)

Its actually a one layer card, well, apart from the fact I decided in the end to crop it and mount it onto another card base. I printed the image and text onto card stock, masked them off and then sprayed it with Cosmic Shimmer Sprays. I then removed the masks and coloured in the dog with distress inks used like watercolours. I then added lots of Stickles glitter. So the Mica in the sprays and the glitter make it pretty blingy in real life.... not so in photograph tho! It's so cute... I kinda want to keep it. :)
