(Comment on this post and the others in the hop to be in with a chance of winning 2 free digistamps from Dr.Digi's House of Stamps!)
Hi everyone! Very happy today to be taking part in the Purple Day Blog Hop! As a group of crafty friends we are joining in with the hop today to increase awareness of epilepsy and how it effects peoples lives.
Purple day is a worldwide event to dispel common myths and fears about this neurological disorder and to reduce social stigmas associated with it. If you want to make a difference scan through this bit of blurb that will let you know what to do if someone you know has a seizure!
Thanks for joining the hop today!
I am very happy to be sponsored by Dr.Digi's House of Stamps and I have used Dumb Bell Derek for my purple card!
If you would like a chance to win two digistamps of your choice from the Dr.Digi's Shop you must comment on each of the team's hop posts including this one and I will pick a random winner from everyone who has commented on this blog.
Here is the digi I used from the shop (there is a sale on at the moment, use code sale20 to get 20% off):
And here is my version (Close up!):
He is coloured with polychromo pencils and a touch of white posca pen! The font I used is "Ink free". Background papers from the stash and Making Cards Magazine. Bling stars from Paperchase.
There is also a chance to win prizes from Digi Doodle Studios, Kinda cute by Patricia Alvarez, Ike's Art and Knitty Kitty Digis (that's me!).
You have from 26th - 31st of March to hop around the blogs, here are the links you need -

Super cute card, Annabel! Dr. Digi's images are always so fun! Happy Purple Day! I learned a lot about epilepsy during this hop. The point I keep in mind is that during a convulsive seizure you should never hold the person down or put anything in their mouth. Please take care of yourself and stay safe and healthy!

ReplyDeleteOn another note, do you have a snake that you've colored? I thought you did but couldn't find it. :,
Hum, not done a snake, were you looking for scales? I think the best scales I have done were either for you on Gelsey, or perhaps on the all dressed up monsters... https://www.instagram.com/p/Be3JWjJA1nc

Hi, Annabel! Thank you for sponsoring this hop and joining in with your fun card. You are the most amazing colorist!! Everything you touch comes to life. I am glad to be a part of this hop and to be reminded of some important things abt someone having a seizure....like noting the time the seizure started.
ReplyDeleteHope you are doing well during this virus thing. Stay safe and healthy.

ReplyDeleteSuch a great card! Thanks for spreading awareness with this great hop
ReplyDeleteWow, you colored up this hilarious image in such an amazing way! Thanks for sharing it and supporting the hop. I learned not to put anything in a person's mouth when they're having a seizure or to hold them down.
ReplyDeleteThis just makes me chuckle, with that fun image! Thanks for joining the hop and sharing your beautifully colored card. The fact that stands out for me is not to put anything in a person's mouth when they are having a seizure, contrary to popular belief.
ReplyDeleteYour card is a real hoot, Annabel!! I love it! (Please leave me out of your prize draw.) Take care and be safe! Hugs, Darnell
