Not the Joker

What do you get if you cross Batman with a Tree? Spruce Wayne!

(I'm not sure why that made me chuckle so much, but it did, I'm sorry!)

***Newsflash. Would you like a bit more info on how to work with digistamps? How about checking out the Dr.Digi's YouTube channel and this quick video on how to print out your digi downloads using word?***

p.s. Yes, that is me, that is what I sound like, lol!

Back on another Dr.Digi DT Friday and this time I have coloured up Fatman and Bobbin! Love this super duo!

He is coloured as normal with polychromo pencils on kraft card with a spot of white posca pen.

Here he is the shop:

Here is my version:

He's a great digi for a speedy colour and card! I normally save my mobility scooter related cards for my Father-in-Law who drives his round the house wearing a captains hat, lol.

Fonts is Adventure. Purple sparkle cardstock from the stash. Bling from Paperchase and WHSmith.

Thanks for joining me today, Dr.Digi has lots of superhero related stamps in the shop and some great sentiments and backing papers to go with them too.

Christmas Tipple

Good Morning (possibly?) and welcome back to my blog! I really quite enjoyed being a bit Christmassy with this one, so early, lol! This digi is from Dr.Digi's House of Stamps and is called "Rescue Squad".

He is coloured with polychromo pencils on kraft card. I wanted to colour him up in a snowy scene ready for a Xmas card. I swear that the ribbon looks straight on the real thing, lol!

Here is the digi in the shop:

And here is my version:

I added white gel pen, white posca pen and star dust stickles to the card after I had finished with the pencils.

Font is Honey Script. I used Centura Pearl Cherry Pearlescent cardstock for the main card base. Ribbons from the stash.

Thanks for joining me and feeling a bit festive! Have you checked out all the super Christmas digis in the shop if you want some Christmas inspo too?

Cupcake!

Hi everyone! So much time to colour and no end of gorgeous digis from Sweet Escape Digis! Have you been to their shop to see all the lovely options? I really enjoyed colouring up this Cupcake with Cherries and Bow.

This is polychromo pencils on kraft card. Background paper from Making Cards Magazine. A few touches of white posca pen to give highlights. Bling from the stash.

(Tempted? Make sure to check in the Sweet Escape Facebook Group before you make your purchase, there's often an offer on!)

Here is the digi in the shop:

Here is my version:

I decided to add some glossy accents on the cherries after I took these pics, and might add some sprinkles later too, lol!

Fonts are Bernadette Rough and Bodoni MT Black as an outline, coloured with pencils inside.

Thanks for joining me today! I have really enjoyed GDT'ing for Sweet Escape, hopefully some more to come soon!

Rock that mask!

Did you see this super freebie on the Whimsy Stamps and Inspiration Facebook post? This is Polka Dot Pals Gemma from illustrator and artist Barbara Sproatmeyer!

This is the stamp that you can download by following the link on their freebie post: (Make sure you are part of their facebook group before you download this freebie pls).

And here is my version:

Really enjoyed colouring her up, just for fun. She was coloured in polychromo pencils with a touch of white posca pen. As normal, when I have no colour restrictions I always go for rainbow, lol! Love this dress!

Paper is from Making Cards Magazine, bling from the stash, font is Courier New.

Thanks for checking out my version of this freebie. I hope you are all safe at home and free from the plague.

Felted Critters Again.

Hi again, a double DT post today. Just wanted to share with you my two new Cuddly Critters in felt! These are based on Cuddly Critters Rabbit and Squirrel from Dr.Digi's House of Stamps.

So here is the digi I used for the rabbit:

And here is my version, I might add him some whiskers next time I have a session with the glue out, lol.

You can see I gave him little pink paw pads underneath!

And here is the digistamp I used for the squirrel:

And my version of him:

I have also tackled this squirrel in pencil too - here.

I get most of my felt supplies from Fuzzywuzzies an online retailer in the U.K. The rabbit is the carded mouse batt and the squirrel is in the carded foxy batt.

Thanks for having a look at my needle felted creatures, I really enjoy working from a digistamp as inspiration! I hope they made you smile too!

Hangovers are the worst.

Welcome, I'm back with another Dr.Digi's DT Friday post! And this time I have used Hangover Hannah!

This sentiment is so true, I'll do anything to avoid a hangover these days! There was a time when it wouldn't have put me off at all, lol.

Here is the digi in the shop:

And here is my version of her:

I have coloured her with polychromo pencils on kraft card. I added a few highlights to her with white posca pen.  I enjoyed doing the pig slippers most! lol.

The fonts I have used are called Monterey and Dynasty. Background paper was an 8x8 from the stash.

Thanks for joining me today, hopefully it was with a clear head! If you would like to have a browse for more stamps to make you smile, why not head to the Dr.Digi Shop?
