More Alice!

Hi again, it's been a while since I have shared a Sweet Escape Digis stamp, but I always enjoy colouring them. This is Alice, part two, because Berenice (from Sweet Escape) kindly sent me both because I ordered the wrong one, lol. Thank you!

As you can see I did a major crop!  Her proportions would be perfect for the very trendy skinny card option but because I wanted to add so much detail I printed her out much larger, and that didn't given room for the legs, lol. My card is 17 cm x17 cm.

She is coloured with polychromos and a touch of posca paint on her eyes. Background paper is from Making Cards Magazine.

Challenge 41 on The Crafty Addicts!

And it's time for the October Challenge at The Crafty Addicts Challenge Blog and this time the theme is Anything Goes or Autumn Colours.

I wanted to do a bokeh, light through leaves background in pastels but as you can tell, it didn't work out! lol! I did though quite like the amber disco effect, so you will just have to imagine he is a Sloth out clubbing :) 

 

 

I used Derwent Pastel Pencils for the background and Polychromo Pencils for the Sloth. Added some twine and the greeting to embellish. Font is: Boyz R Gross NF

Chuffed!

Woooot! I won something and am very chuffed. There is nothing nicer than winning a prize for something you enjoy doing :)

So the Knight, from the Hard Days Knight Digistamp won me a rather nice prize of a Dr.Digi mug (photos later) and 5 new Dr. Digi digistamps.!

They have to be my fav to colour, especially in polychromos on kraft paper, and now I have five more to use! Am proper stoked :) Thanks very much Dr. Digi!

Bestie Chickens :)

Another commissioned card, I don't have any chicken stamps (well none that I could find) so I made some myself. And yes they are attached to balloons because they are birthday chickens! :D

They are now also a digiset in my Etsy shop and you can find them HERE! There are seven chickens in the set including a kite, weather vane and sqwalking chicken not shown here :)

Clouds are distress inks and a homemade cloud stencil. I added a few Joy die clouds too. The chickens and balloons are all coloured with copics.

A Day For Daisies, More Penguins!

I love the A Day For Daisies, Penguin Digis! I was lucky enough to be able to use "Penguin Flight" as part of the Design Team for The Crafty Addicts and I ended up buying "Penguin Snowman" too because I couldn't resist it! :)

I made quite a few of these and personalised them for my customers. The background is blended distress inks, flicked with water and then added Posca Paint snow. The image is coloured with Copic pens and then stickles and more Posca Paint dots. The eyes are small black gemstone bling. The font is Ambrosia.

Scaredy Cats

Happy to report that the new "Scaredy Cat Digistamp Collection" from Knitty Kitty Digi's is now live, featuring five new stamps for Halloween! As normal the kitties have new scary outfits and are enjoying being mischievous!

Challenge No.9 on the Crafty Addicts Facebook Challenge

So this is three images from The Kitty Star Sign Set - Leo, Virgo and Libra, to form a birthday card for a special Virgoan in my life! Yes, it really is a word :) The Star Sign Set features a kitty version of all the star signs.

I used polychromo pencils on kraft card and then added a die cut circle and pink enamel dots. The font is called " Boyz R Gross"... which they are ;)

New Digistamp on Etsy - Kitanic! - Part of the Time Out Collection.

Really trying to think up some good idea for men's cards! So you can sneak in the kitty theme but still appeal to the men in your life... or the fisherwomen in your life, if you have them... or friends obsessed with the Titanic? :)

This was the original sketch which I watercoloured too.
