Cat kidson.

Me + sewing machine = disaster.
After seven hours I finally managed to make some lavender bags as per an order. I know it takes practice to get good results but honestly, I think there may be no hope for me ! :)

Turkeys

Working through the orders for Christmas cards. A friend asked me for one similar to one I'd made a previous year, featuring a turkey! I think it was a decopage from jolly nation. Anyway, had to make it myself this time so hand drew a very similar chap on the computer and then printed it onto different patterned papers to use for "paper piecing" the image.

Glad's cats.

Part of a commissioned picture of two large ginger cats. Am happy to consider requests :)

Photo card.

I used to really love editing photos, correcting problems and reprinting them. Handy skill set for these kind of projects, not sure if i should continue with the process and return an improved pic with the card?

Finishing off the non-christmas card orders.

Commissioned card for a three year old goddaughter. Been looking forward to use these 3d hello kitty stickers for ages. :)

Thank you Phreddy!!!!

And yes... I have very bright yellow walls. :)

Second card

Made a couple of cards this evening, both using some ideas I'd saved from craft mags.

Deciding if I should use my phone cam to take my card shots. Should l put them onto Flickr too or take a second set with my proper camera? Decisions, decisions.

Finished

Finished jewellery making for a while, back to card making, lots of fresh orders and really I should start on the crimbo cards. These are a few of my recent bracelets.

Modify

Modifying some more pilgrim earrings for myself.

Fixing things

One of the best things about learning the skills for jewellery making, is being able to fix things! This was a snapped pilgrim bracelet that I was given to repair. Several pieces missing, but what do you think? Spot the new join?;)

Pick up a penguin

When I first got interested in beading I made lots of handbag charms, including some eclectic mixes of themes beads. (if that is possible?) Making some more for the next show, penguin, Russian doll and cats. Also made a few more earrings today.
I love my new phone!! It's making regular blogging really easy :)

This is a pattern from Craft seller magazine, and this was our first attempt. It needs a few adjustments we think, but it came out pretty cool! :)
Been along time since I have caught up with my online craftingness...

Unfortunately I only have turquoise yellow and pink shimmer mist, so it soon had to take on a new design. Want to play around with the divided tags idea a bit more, as I think it could be used to make something alot better.

Also purchased a fab owl box and a more complicated Russian Doll box. Well worth a look and very reasonable prices too.

Commissioned to make a few party invites and this is the result! Wanted to play with distress inks and resist technique for ages, but have just never got round to it. Both sets of stamps used were from Crafty Individuals, and I am glad I have finally done them some justice! Used Ranger distress inks in a few shades and added a little bling for the final touch.

Am annoyed my printer wont print on vellum so eventually I hand wrote the information, I usually dont like hand written greetings on card, but this worked out ok I think.

Am going to have to design a sticker for the back of these cards, I thought it was easy to work out how they stood up, but it seems not. :/

Really pleased with my owl die, I have all four so I'm keen to try the others! Love this set by Do Crafts...
