Autumn Colours!

Loved working with Autumn colours for this Challenge, No 26 on The Crafty Addicts Challenge Blog! The theme is either Autumn Colours, or as normal, Anything Goes.

We are sponsored this time by the lovely A Day for Daisies who have some of my very favourite images to colour. This time, for my inspiration card, I used "Playing in the Pumpkin Patch" which was so nice to colour! I've used polychromo pencils on Neenah Sandstorm Cardstock for this one, wanted to see how it worked with the polychromos, imho it's just a bit too smooth, but I was able to blend fine on it.

I also went a bit mad with the embelli's but I was having fun and didn't care about whether I was being cost effective! I used dies for the clouds (joy) , bunting (die'sire) and butterfly (xcut). I used card and paper from my stash, probably each piece from a different collection and time period! The flowers are from Prima/QVC. Bling also from the stash. The greeting is a font called "Angel Tears".....think that's it!

Crafty Addicts Facebook January Challenge.

Am pleased to report I am now helping my friend Helen run a challenge blog called The Crafty Addicts!

Not only does it have two competitions per week on the blog, but an additional monthly challenge on Facebook.

This is the first Design Team I have been part of, and below is my first challenge inspiration card for the current Facebook Challenge. The theme is -  "Something With Wings" and I've used the stamp "Goth Fairy 2" by Morgan's Art World.

Wings and background are a combo of  Ranger Distress Daubers and Cosmic Mica Shimmer Mists. Additional bling with Stickles and Sequins. Fairy coloured with the computer and enhanced with Copics and white pen. Diecut greeting from Die'sire/Crafter's Companion.

98778 Butterfly Heart

I've been using my Butterfly Heart (98778) die from Memory Box again, it makes such a simple but classy anniversary card I can't resist it! It also cuts extremely well, cleanly and there are no fiddly bits to push out afterwards!

I've used it for silver, pearl (see below) and ruby anniversaries so far but think it would make a lovely wedding or valentine card. Next time I want to have a go at a multi-coloured version which involves a bit of cutting out, but having seen some of the effects via pinterest I am really impressed.

Apparently the Memory Box Cupid Heart Die 98281 works well with it too.

Thank you Helen for buying me this butterfly heart goodness. :)
