My Christmas cards for 2011

Fluffles stamps from stampendous. Some were Xmas pressies from my mate Toni.

Christmas over now.

Just thought I'd end with some of the Xmas cards I made this year before starting on the next.
Simba was a commissioned card and the penguins were more octonauts for my nephew.

Me + sewing machine = disaster.
After seven hours I finally managed to make some lavender bags as per an order. I know it takes practice to get good results but honestly, I think there may be no hope for me ! :)

Turkeys

Working through the orders for Christmas cards. A friend asked me for one similar to one I'd made a previous year, featuring a turkey! I think it was a decopage from jolly nation. Anyway, had to make it myself this time so hand drew a very similar chap on the computer and then printed it onto different patterned papers to use for "paper piecing" the image.

Photo card.

I used to really love editing photos, correcting problems and reprinting them. Handy skill set for these kind of projects, not sure if i should continue with the process and return an improved pic with the card?

Finishing off the non-christmas card orders.

Commissioned card for a three year old goddaughter. Been looking forward to use these 3d hello kitty stickers for ages. :)
