Huddle!

Just popping on to post the card I made with one of my prizes from Sheepski Designs! This digi is called "Huddle".

I just printed it onto Kraft Card, added a greeting and coloured it up with polychromos. I added some spots of glossy accents to the eyes and glasses, and some stickles and posca pen to the snow.  Font is Goudy Stout.  Paper behind is from Making Cards Magazine and the pearls were from the stash.

I took some close ups of the penguins.

Thought they were super cute and really good fun to colour. My partner told me now I have made them fluffy they look more like black and white hedgehogs! Isn't he rude? lol.

Thanks for my prize digi Andrea, I still have two more to go!

GDT for Sheepski!

Very happy to be doing a spot of GDTing, this time for Sheepski Designs! Was very happy that my robin won the Sheepski Facebook Challenge and I was offered an image for GDTing in Jan!

Here is my card, using the "Freesia Vase" Digistamp from Sheepski Designs. I just took a section of the stamp to work with on the front of my card.

Image is painted and splashed with Gansai Tambi Watercolour Paints. I printed the digi slightly paler than the original to remove any harsh lines. I also printed directly onto watercolour paper. I added some yellow stickles to the front of the card.
The font is Honey Script.
I made this as a commission for a friend.

Here is the image in the shop, in full, so you can see how I cropped it. The attention to detail in this stamp is amazing!

I wish the watercolour paper would photograph better! The card looked much prettier in real life. I have a new light to use in 2018, hopefully it will change the hue a little and make the watercolour paper more white and bright! Fingers crossed.

Thank you Andrea for having me on the DT!

Such a nice prize!

Was so stoked to win a prize from Sheepski Designs with my Disco Sloth card! I chose this super Winter Robin digi to colour up and it was really good fun to do!

Coloured with Polychromos on kraft card! No surprise at all there hey? :) The berries are so much darker on the photo, not sure why, how odd! :)

The font is Kilsonburg, thought it would make a nice change. I mounted the kraft topper onto a spotted card base with 3D foam. I also added glossy accents to the berries (More for interest than anything else) and some stickles to the snow.

I had a great time colouring it, thanks for the prize Sheepski Designs! :)

Challenge 41 on The Crafty Addicts!

And it's time for the October Challenge at The Crafty Addicts Challenge Blog and this time the theme is Anything Goes or Autumn Colours.

Two great sponsors again Moonflower Digital Stamps (Prize is a $10 voucher) and Sheepski Designs (Prize is 3 free digis).

I have chosen to use Slow is good from Sheepski Designs.

I wanted to do a bokeh, light through leaves background in pastels but as you can tell, it didn't work out! lol! I did though quite like the amber disco effect, so you will just have to imagine he is a Sloth out clubbing :)

I used Derwent Pastel Pencils for the background and Polychromo Pencils for the Sloth. Added some twine and the greeting to embellish. Font is: Boyz R Gross NF

Challenge 32, the first of 2017! Part A.

Very excited to show the first of two cards I made for the new challenge on The Crafty Addicts Challenge Blog!

The theme this month was Monochromatic /ATG and I made two cards, one from each sponsor.

The sponsors are Lacy Sunshine and Sheepski Designs.

In this blog post I would like to share the card I made using "Becca - Image Number 25" from Sheepski Designs. I coloured the girl in copics and standard pencil, fulfilling the " monochromatic" part of the brief.

I went a bit astray with the parasol, I fancied making it pop with a rainbow of watercolours! (Gansai Tambi Watercolours - Xmas present from my friend Norms) I used the watercolours on another piece of paper and added it onto the image. Wanted to keep this fairly clean and simple, so added no embellishments.

The font I used is Blessed Day.

I'll blog my Lacy Sunshine card on the next post :)
