Frenchie Cactus!

(Catchupmageddon Post). A commissioned card for a frenchie lover! I was aiming for something clean and modern looking with this card.

I used two stamp sets -
We love dogs from Apple Blossom Craft Collection (STOB0012)
Prickly Plants from For the Love of Stamps by Hunkydory (FTLS203)

I stamped them straight onto the card in this layout and coloured them with copic markers and white posca pen.

Font is All Hooked Up. Enamel bling from the stash.

We will miss him too.

Unfortunately my friend lost her dog this week, so I made her a little sympathy card. He was a really funny, loving, beautiful dog and I will definitely be missing him too.

Dachshund is coloured in Copics, E08, E31, E33. He and the Sentiment are from the "We Love Dogs" set by Apple Blossom (STOB0012). Paw prints are from the set called "Foot Marks" by Muji. Mounted on 3D foam and attached to a 7x5 inch card blank.

Pair of black, red and white kitty cards.

This started as a commissioned card for a 60th birthday, but I eventually made a pair of cards using two backgrounds I had created to compliment the image and colour scheme.

The central image is using an Inkylicious  stamp called "Cat - Toby".. which I picked up in a Craft Fair some time ago and had not used before. I really like it! And I was able to edit it to use as a black and white cat and as a black cat for the commissioned card. The butterfly stamp came with the image and I used a grass stencil to give the cat a base to sit on.

The two backgrounds were made by first blowing (distress reinker) inks with a straw! I love the look of it, and discovered if you blow really hard, you can make quite a thin network of veins! On the one version I then used normal distress inks to colour the cardstock, and on the other left it white.

Distress Ink Base layer - Ripe Persimmon, Barn Door, Spiced Marmalade and Fired Brick
Reinkers - Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Candied Apple.

Stamps in background, using Versafine Onyx Black  - La Chat Noir from Craft Stamper Magazine, "We Love Cats" from the Apple Blossom Craft Collection and Poppy Paint Fusion Set from Sheena Douglass.

Glossy Accent on eyes, bling and ribbon from stash to finish.

I scanned and reused the backgrounds so I could  make matching inners for the cards.

Flower Haul!

Quick photo of my flower haul from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I can't recommend them enough! I ordered this batch on a Saturday and it arrived Tuesday morning. I messaged them to ask if they could speed it up (not that they are normally slow in anyway) and it arrived asapp ( as soon as postally possible.)

This picture shows their Poppies, Sweetheart Blossoms, Apple and Cherry Blossoms.

This post is not sponsored. :)
