Felted Critters Again.

Hi again, a double DT post today. Just wanted to share with you my two new Cuddly Critters in felt! These are based on Cuddly Critters Rabbit and Squirrel from Dr.Digi's House of Stamps.

So here is the digi I used for the rabbit:

And here is my version, I might add him some whiskers next time I have a session with the glue out, lol.

You can see I gave him little pink paw pads underneath!

And here is the digistamp I used for the squirrel:

And my version of him:

I have also tackled this squirrel in pencil too - here.

I get most of my felt supplies from Fuzzywuzzies an online retailer in the U.K. The rabbit is the carded mouse batt and the squirrel is in the carded foxy batt.

Thanks for having a look at my needle felted creatures, I really enjoy working from a digistamp as inspiration! I hope they made you smile too!

Penguin Baubles!

So part of the mahousive backlog posting session is going to include some non-cards! And I wanted to share with you a few pictures of the baubles I made my friends for Christmas!

I made these using polystyrene balls covered in a layer of white needle-felted batt and then added details by needle-felting each of them some wings and cheeks and beaks etc. I think they were all different in the end, specials included a rein-penguin, a rudolpenguin, and a penguin with eyebrows.

I wrapped them all up in tissue paper and did them like a lucky dip on our coffee morning. Unfortunately they were a bit too bulky to send my online crafty friends, I need to find a flatter idea for next year!

 Where I sourced things -

Here is one that made it onto my christmas tree for a bit! I think a whole tree of them would look really cool, though I don't think I can stand making anymore for a bit, lol.

Thanks for joining me on catch-up day two!

Gnomes!

Hi all, just wanted to share a few photos from today's needle felted gnome workshop I did with my friends Helen and Kay courtesy of Lana Mutado

Fun course and nice not to have to travel too far for a workshop too.

(Mine is the green one!)

Doing the beard is defo the fun bit!

Aren't the pointy hats great?! Hoping Helen will let me pop round to hers to add some ornaments to my one, we got lots done in the workshop but it would be nice to have some more time to tszug him up!  Pop to there facebook page if you are interested in doing a workshop too?
