Cat's Chorus?

Am so lucky to work on the LBB DT where it's ok to do a bit of a collab! I know designers collaborating, who'd have thought it? lol! (This post is cross posted on the LBB Blog).

For my DT choice today I have the super Caroling Sophie and.... she has some Knitty Kitty friends!

I loved this image of Sophie but thought she could do with some friends, hard to carol properly when you're snuggled deep in a cosy scarf! :) And we all know what delightful voices cats have when they sing!

I added the caroling cats digistamp to Sophie on the computer and then printed them out onto the topper together. I coloured them with polychromo pencils on kraft.  I added some Glossy Accents and Stickles as well as a few bits of posca pen. The papers are all from the stash. Font is Candy Buzz BTN.

LBB New Release - Anna's Present

Back once again on New Release Day at Little Blue Button Stamps! Very pleased to be colouring Anna and Spike again, and here is the one of the new digis - Anna's Present.

I thought I'd go non traditional christmas colours and make her into a contemporary christmas card but I think she would great for other types of cards too! I've used polychromo pencils on kraft card.

I decided to add some snowflakes and a greeting in two fonts, Snowflake letters and Snowhouse demo! I also used some posca pen and bling on the snowflakes, mainly just to christmassyfy (official word) the scene! :)

I mounted her onto a blank and backed her with some spotty paper from the stash. Spike had some glossy accents on his nose to make it ultra shiny! :)

Sweet Escape Tuesday No.5.

Final Guest DT Sweet Escape Digi Tuesday! And this time I bring to you - Cute Couple Foxes!

I made them christmassy, but they could be for any occasion! Super cute anniversary card too I think? Here is a link to them in the shop and what they look like as a digi!

I coloured them in polychromo pencils on kraft card and added text in Gigi font.

I also teamed them up with some awesome freebie papers from Making Cards Magazine, and I think it's a pretty current issue if you fancy getting some for yourself? I also added some glossy accents and stickles for some highlights.

Dr. Digi Saucer Head!

Hi! It’s Annabel here and I am a little bit excited to share my first official Dr. Digi's House of Stamps Design Team project!

I have thoroughly enjoyed making a card for my nephew with “Saucer head”. What kind of jumpers do aliens wear? I opted for mauve stripes J I hope he makes my nephew chuckle, I certainly did whilst I was colouring him up.

I coloured him with polychromos (as usual!) on kraft card. I printed him out a bit paler than the text so I could lose the lines a bit as I coloured. I highlighted in white posca pen. Added glossy accents and stickles. And a few gel stars I picked up in the pound shop! (cheapo shopping win!)

Fonts are Adventure and Courier New.

The awesome background papers I used are from my very old stack -"All About Boys" from DCWV. It's a product that might have been expensive but is worth every penny! I thought these two papers went nicely with the digi.... but unfortunately are really hard to buy now. Good news tho you can buy some fab matching papers from the Dr.Digi shop too! Actually the Sci-fi set  is kind of tempting, and very good value.. I was tempted anyway! :)

Here he is the shop if you fancy a go too? Fabulous to colour, lots of opportunity to be creative! Want to have another go at colouring him where everything glows!!! And another go where I colour the glass dome more like a bubble. So many ideas for him :)

So pleased to be on the DT and to have the opportunity to spend alot more time colouring the Dr. Digi images! They have always been one of my favourite things to colour so I feel jolly lucky.

Sweet Escape Tuesday No.4

Back once again with some more Sweet Escape Digi joy! - This is Lady Dragon!

Lady Dragon is one of four super digis in the Fantasy Digital Stamps Pack. Here is a look at the actual digi and a link to  her in the shop.

I wanted to go a bit, "mother of dragons" with her, so gave her a kinda GOT theme with the text, and made the bit of hair I could see pale blonde, and gave her violet eyes!

But I'm not sure she is entirely Khalessi! She was beautiful to colour though. I confess, it took me more than one evening to colour her in, but I gave myself a strict colour palette to follow as I was aiming for a rich effect. 

The font is called Game of Thrones and the papers are from Making Cards Magazine. The sequins and ribbon are from the stash and I used stickles, nuvo drops and glossy accents to highlight areas too. It's a pretty big card, I used an 8x8 kraft card blank from Papermania.

First LBBS DT post!

Hi all, I am cross posting this onto the Little Blue Button Blog this month! Feels like being a proper adult! lol!

For my DT image this month I chose Chatting Charlie! I think it was the first LBB image I saw and loved. It also reminds me a lot of my friend Fiki! So I have been inspired by her kitties when I coloured in the cat!

I used polychromo pencils on kraft card, white posca paint for some highlights, and added Papermania star bling to embellish. The background paper is from Tonic (Mid Summer Mornings, 8x8) and the Font is Courier.

She colours up so nicely! I love her! Defo one of my fav all time digis.

News and New Release!

Hi! I have some nice news to share! I have joined a new Design Team at Little Blue Button Stamps! Am so excited to work with these images, it's so nice to use digis that are fun to colour and are a joy to share :)

Today is new release day at Little Blue Button Stamps, and I was lucky enough to colour up Witch Sophie!

I printed Sophie onto kraft card ( a little lighter than the original digistamp) and also added the wording too, so as if it was a one layer card. Font is Svergie Script.

I used polychromo pencils to colour her in and some white posca pen for the eye highlights.

Finally I mounted it onto a 7x5 card blank with a strip of patterned paper (From Tonic - Mid Summer Mornings 8x8) and added some sequins and stickles to embellish!

Number Two.

Second DT post of the day, this time it's for The Crafty Addicts Facebook Page, where we are having a few adhoc challenges this year. (No theme for them, it's an Anything Goes Challenge).

We are being sponsored by All Dressed Up (Prize is two free stamps!) this time and I used the fab image My Little Flower Girl.

It's not exciting I know but I used polychromo pencils on kraft card :) The font is October Twilight, one of my new favs. Added on some stickles and sequins to finish.

Scaredy Cats

Happy to report that the new "Scaredy Cat Digistamp Collection" from Knitty Kitty Digi's is now live, featuring five new stamps for Halloween! As normal the kitties have new scary outfits and are enjoying being mischievous!
